An entrepreneur by nature, at the age of 18, Jason founded a recording studio, which spawned into a successful independent record label. In 1995, the necessity of utilizing alternative marketing vehicles helped him discover the power of the internet. Jason tapped into the potential of online global niche communities early on, and was truly inspired by its increasing potential. In 1997 he left the music industry to pursue a career in digital marketing.
Jason co-founded one of the first digital media agencies in 1998, Mass Transit Interactive. The agency earned a reputation of being a highly specialized and elite digital media shop that can deliver results for large brands. In 2005 Jason sold the agency to Horizon Media, the largest independent media agency in the US, and became the Managing Director of Horizon Interactive. In July of 2007, Jason resigned from Horizon to focus on launching a niche travel media business. He also took on the role of Executive Vice President of the Laredo Group, where he developed and led training programs for agencies and marketers on how to navigate the complex and evolving world of digital media, social media and mobile marketing. In January 2011, Jason sold his travel business and launched Agiliti.
